Event Name: Ride to Rihe Dam

Ride route:

Dbyk, Bavdhan meet up 0600 am -> Ride starts at 0615 am sharp -> Necklace -> Pashan Circle -> Sus Road -> New Bridge towards Sus -> Regroup 01 -> Sus  -> Sunnys world -> Nande Regroup 2 on the bridge -> T junction before Mulkhed -> Mulkhed -> Rihe -> The route back will be the same. (Baner/ Balewadi people can disperse at Sus). The ride will end at Dbyk, Bavdhan. Time taken for the total ride will be approx. 4 hours depending on the group speed.

Description:

One of the most popular and scenic routes is the route to Rihe Dam from Bavdhan. We have done this route quite a few times and it always has a different charm to it whenever we go. The winter mornings will add its own charm to the route and the backwaters of the Rihe always offer visual beauty to the eyes.

This ride is majorly targeted for new members of the tribe and non-members who wish to join or know more about the Tribe membership format. We would like the regular tribe members to join this ride so that newcomers can understand what the tribe is all about to join us with more enthusiasm.

It’s a 60 kms moderate paced ride with a couple of stops for regroups, photo ops and some time to be spent at the beautiful Rihe dam, by the backwaters. The route is predominantly rolling with smooth and scenic roads for most of the part. 

Please carry spare tubes, a personal puncture repair kit, at least 2 liters of water, some snacks like biscuits and/ or dry fruits for energy and some glucose powder/ tablets. In addition to this, it’s advisable to carry a light jacket/windsheeter to tackle the drop in temperatures during the winter. Tea breaks can be taken but it will be on a personal expense basis.

Total time taken for the ride will be somewhere close to 4 hours, since we will be taking breaks for regroups, having conversations, spending some time at the dam and clicking some great pictures, in addition to breaks that occur due to rains or anything else.

We will be a group of 30 cyclists max. So please confirm your seats at the earliest!
