Description

Welcome to the second edition of the Bajirao Peshwa ride!

This is our way of paying tribute to one of the greatest Peshwa, Bajirao I, by cycling from Dubere, Maharashtra which was the birthplace of the Peshwa to his place of samadhi at Raverkhedi, Madhya Pradesh.

The entire route will be covered in a span of 3 days majorly on cycles and partly in a vehicle.

It's a fast paced ride with approximately 120 kms of riding daily with the 3rd having a smaller ride. The entire route is a smooth road except for some 20 kms on the last day, which is an undeveloped road. There are a few ghat sections but not very tough to climb and most of the route is a flat route, topography wise. Along the way there would be a number of stops at various places of interest, regroup stops, photo op stops etc.

Highlight features of the tour:

• Visit the historical place of Peshwas Bajirao 1 ‘s place of birth and death, on cycles.
• Crossing of 3 important rivers of India on cycles along with a couple of minor ones.
• A chance to visit the beautiful locales of Maheshwar and Mandu.
• Experience a back to back 100 km+ ride.
• Cycle along some scenic locales of Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh.

Event Cost

Approximate pricing, Ex-Sinnar.

• For SW Tribe Members - ₹ 27,500
• For Non-SW Tribe Members - ₹ 29,000
• Advance ₹ 5,000 towards registration, included in the total price mentioned above.

Exclusions

1. Travel arrangements from participant residence to Sinnar and vice versa
2. Personal expenses of any other sorts than those mentioned in Inclusions
3. Medical expenses in any case of emergency
4. Mechanical expenses for the cycle due to damage or local mechanic charges will be as applicable.
