About the Ride
Join us for a unique, members-only cycling adventure through the lush green landscapes of Amba Ghat with a memorable visit to the historic Pawankhind. This scenic ride is crafted specially for the Speaking Wheels Tribe and combines adventure, history, and camaraderie.
We begin with a Friday evening check-in at Karad (12th September 2025), followed by a beautiful early morning ride through smooth roads and stunning terrain. The ride includes challenging climbs and scenic descents through windmill-studded hills and monsoon-fed forests.
At Amba, enjoy a light veg lunch, followed by an exciting Jeep Safari to Pawankhind—a historic site known for its connection to Baji Prabhu Deshpande and its famous bison sightings.
After dinner and an overnight stay at the resort, we ride back to Karad on Sunday morning, aiming to return by noon, followed by checkout from Karad on 14th September 2025.
Important Notes
- This ride is open exclusively to SW Tribe Members.
- Maximum 18 cyclists.
- One-way cycling distance: 75 km with ghat sections (Total ~150 km).
- Expect heavy monsoon weather – carry appropriate rain gear.
- Participants must arrange their own transport (carpooling is encouraged). Car parking at Karad will be provided.
