Through the beautiful locales around the Trimbakeshwar mountain ranges in Nashik, with daily rides ending at wineries for wine tasting.

Description

Nashik is known as the Wine Capital of Maharashtra, home to some world-famous wineries. What better way to explore them than with sample tasting — and that too on a cycle ride!

This event blends cycling with fun: an easy-paced ride where each day concludes with wine tasting and exploration at a winery. Along the way, there will be regroup stops, photo-ops, and scenic halts to soak in the surroundings.

In December 2024, the fifth edition of La Vino Velo combined two passions that rarely meet: cycling and wine tasting. Riders covered 225 km over 2.5 days through Maharashtra’s premier wine country, exploring the rolling landscapes of the Trimbakeshwar ranges, stopping at scenic backwaters, and finishing each day with tours and tastings at Nashik’s finest wineries.

Now, Edition 6 takes this unique concept even further. From 5th–8th December 2025, join Speaking Wheels for a cycling experience like no other — a perfect balance of athletic adventure and epicurean indulgence.

The Experience

• Rolling Terrain & Scenic Beauty
  Cycle through the majestic Trimbakeshwar mountain ranges, across serene dam backwaters, and climbs typical to Maharashtra. The roads are mostly smooth with occasional rough patches, making it a true yet enjoyable challenge.
• Wine Hop on a Cycle
  Each day’s 70–80 km ride ends at a prestigious winery, where you’ll unwind with curated wine tastings and tours, discovering why Nashik is called the Wine Capital of India.
• Fun & Camaraderie
  Expect regroup stops, photo-op halts, scenic viewpoints, and plenty of laughter as the group pedals together, keeping the spirit lighthearted and enjoyable.
• Intimate Group Size
  We limit the ride to 14 cyclists, ensuring personal attention, comfort, and stronger bonds within the group.
